Green Party of Santa Clara County membership discussed the Nov 8th Statewide Ballot Measures as well as as well as the recommendations by the Green Party of Alameda County’s 2022 Voter Guide at our September 9th monthly meeting. We have arrived at the following recommendations. We encourage all voters to VOTE their values and support measures and propositions that bring equity and benefit to our most underserved communities. – YES on Prop 1 – Constitutional right to reproductive freedom
– YES on Prop 26 – Legalizes sports betting at Indian casinos & racetracks
– NO on Prop 27 – Legalizes online and mobile sports betting
– YES on Prop 28 – Arts and Music Education Funding
– YES on Prop 29 – On-site medical professional at kidney dialysis clinics
– No position on Prop 30 – Programs to reduce air pollution and prevent wildfires
– YES on Prop 31 – Approves the ban on certain flavored tobacco products
